Mourning Ceremony at Shah Cheragh Mausoleum Marks Imam Hassan (AS) Martyrdom
TEHRAN (IQNA) – This Friday, the 7th day of the lunar Hijri month of Safar, marked the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan (AS), the second Shia Imam.
Mourning ceremonies and rituals were held in mosques and religious centers across Iran on the anniversary.
The Shah Cheragh (AS) mausoleum in Shiraz, south of the country, hosted one of the mourning rituals, which included a speech by Hojat-ol-Islam Nayyeri and elegy recitation by Mohammad Sharifzadeh.
